from the second you walked across that street and into my life -
I've felt like you conclude me.
You're voice has the power to calm me,
to console me -
sometimes the power to free me.
I look into your eyes and it changes me,
almost as if you put the hope of happiness back into my head and that inspires me.
I love the way I feel when you're around me -
like Nelly and Kelly you have that secrecy about you that draws me in -
The time I've spent away from you eats at me-
I know everything I'm saying ends in "me"
but I can't help it,
I feel like you're a part of me.
Maybe not my "better half"
but a big enough piece of me to feel empty when I don't have you there.
Even if only at a distance -
because I know you well enough to know you feel safer that way.
