What does our gut feeling really tell us?

Did you ever walk into a room and your chest feels tight or your stomach feels queasy? Did you ever think that those feelings may be a sign to get your ass outta there.. stat? Most of us don't either! However, there are some of us who know their bodies well enough to know when their intuition is telling them to do (or not to do) something!

Human intution is an interesting topic. I have read many books on the subject and although it fascinates me, I too, do not always listen to my "gut feelings." Ladies, we have a tendency to not trust our own gut feelings just because our gut feelings, usually defies what our hearts are trying to accomplish. I always did find it funny how us females will not even hold a conversation with someone if we get that feeling that they're "bad news." BUT, we will however, stay with a guy for however long it takes him to play the shit out of us, only to turn around and say, "I knew he was cheatin'!" (And we really wonder why men call us emotionally impulsive!)

Yes! Our intuition is that unexplainable feeling that someone is cheating on us, lying to us or more commonly, not telling us the whole story (lying by omission.) But this intuition doesn't just kick in with relationships. Intuition, if we listen to it, could help us succeed in business, define toxic friendships, it can even help us leave the club/bar at just the right moment before a fight breaks out and those lovely cops show up just in time to ruin the night!

People always associate intuition with the emotion of love. But as I said, this isn't always the case. If you still think it does, do yourself a favor, pick yourself up a copy of the book, "The Art Of Seduction." You'll soon realize that your intuition, is really the weakest counterattack of a relationship!
