They're Worse Than Roaches

They are everywhere and no one knows why or how?!?!? Really? The words bed bugs and epidemic should never even be placed in the same sentence. Everyday there is a story about bed bugs in the paper. Did you know there's been 137 cases of bedbugs in the Brooklyn schools alone. The school district claims that they are not labeling this an epidemic because a "case" could be nothing more than the sighting of one single bed bug! What?!?! Do you think bedbugs travel alone? If you seen one, trust me, there's more nesting somewhere in the vicinity.

Aside from Brooklyn, there has also been 199 other reported cases this school year within the school districts of the other boroughs combined. This is ridiculous. These statistics are not even including Long Island and the rest of New York. That's scary. I read another article in the Daily News, the same day and page that the school districts article was on, about a couple visiting from Michigan. They came to New York on an all-expenses paid weekend getaway, staying at the world famous Waldorf Astoria, where they not only left with over 100 bed bug bites, they carried the fuckers back home! The couple is now suing, according to the Daily News, for expenses they incurred for cleaning bills, laundry services and the repeated extermination of their home. This is the we're talking about, not the Motel 6! This woman spent nearly $8,000 just to get rid of the result of a free trip! Talk about irony!

There's been more than enough cases in not only New York, but across the United States for someone to have found a solution! It has now reached the point which proves that bed bugs do not only arise in dirty homes and places. So what's the next move? As far as New York goes, I just found that we actually have a NYC Bed Bug Advisory Board, which is crazy in itself! We have a designated division assigned to this and we still have an statewide infestation? What the fuck sense does that make?

DO YOUR FUCKING JOB AND GET RID OF THESE DAMN THINGS WITHOUT RAISING TAXES!!!!!
