Artist Spotlight: D.H. Dahitwryter

You all know that I love to show my support and promote my fellow go gettas and productive people who are making something of themselves. This week's artist is a productive, talented female from Baltimore with a strong message and the voice to match.

D.H. DaHitwryter is a young, ambitious woman whose talent stretches far outside the realm of music. Although her passion for music started at the young age of 7, D.H also had a strong passion for basketball. And according to close sources, her drive on the court was just as powerful as her drive for success. After an injury forced her to retire from basketball, D.H. turned her focus on her music, and lucky for us that we did. A sneak peak at her up coming debut album tells me that we would have been missing out on some hot tracks if she chose the court over the studio! Check her out her song, "Faithful"...

Even as an artist, D.H. is multi-talented, showin' off her lyrical skills from genre to genre. From Hip Hop & R&B to NeoSoul, all the way to Rock, Pop, and Gospel ... this singer, songer-writer and versatile rapper definitely gets my support for her attention grabbing sounds and her obvious dedication! It's always good to see a woman doin' her thing! If you're ever in the Baltimore area, make sure you check her out.
