The Astronomical Kid - Stop Lookin At My Moms

This is the cutest video I have ever seen! Lil man is fed up!

Stop focusing on his age, his wardrobe and his haircut. Listen to what this kid is actually saying! CLASSIC!!!!! This is Brian Bradley aka The Astronomical Kid. A 14 year Brooklyn Native who is sick of people starring at his mama. Can you blame him?

Artist Spotlight: D.H. Dahitwryter

You all know that I love to show my support and promote my fellow go gettas and productive people who are making something of themselves. This week's artist is a productive, talented female from Baltimore with a strong message and the voice to match.

D.H. DaHitwryter is a young, ambitious woman whose talent stretches far outside the realm of music. Although her passion for music started at the young age of 7, D.H also had a strong passion for basketball. And according to close sources, her drive on the court was just as powerful as her drive for success. After an injury forced her to retire from basketball, D.H. turned her focus on her music, and lucky for us that we did. A sneak peak at her up coming debut album tells me that we would have been missing out on some hot tracks if she chose the court over the studio! Check her out her song, "Faithful"...

Even as an artist, D.H. is multi-talented, showin' off her lyrical skills from genre to genre. From Hip Hop & R&B to NeoSoul, all the way to Rock, Pop, and Gospel ... this singer, songer-writer and versatile rapper definitely gets my support for her attention grabbing sounds and her obvious dedication! It's always good to see a woman doin' her thing! If you're ever in the Baltimore area, make sure you check her out.

Show D.H. DaHitwryter some love:

Artist Spotlight: The Day Laborers

Strong Island in the house!!!!! Owwww....

It brings me great pleasure to introduce this group to my readers. Who are the The Day Laborers, you ask?  A Duo who have spent years paying their dues to build a reputation the old fashion way. Defining themselves on stage performing at venues all over New York City. Most notably, a series of highly successful shows at the legendary CBGB's,  where at a time when the venue had not opened it doors to hip hop for many years until The Day Laborers came on the scene

The group proudly joins the lineage of other Lengendary Long Island hip hop pioneers such as Rakim, EPMD, De La Soul, and Public Enemy. Lyricists I.N.F. and Aspect are collectively known as The Day Laborers.  Take a peak at their latest single ...

Who Is RL Trillz?

The amount of talent running ramped on Twitter never ceases to amaze me. Even still, it doesn't take the spotlight away when I do come across new music to jam to!

Who is RL Trillz, you ask? He's one of the hottest new artists I've come in contact with! Born and raised in Philly, RL Trillz debuted in the game just last year! Mind boggling to know after listening to his traxx; not your amateur sound right here! Here's one of my favorite traxx for you to listen to....

Feelin' it?!?!? Shoutouts to Jahlil beats who without a doubt, did his thing on that one! Trillz claims that he was inspired by artists such as Big L (one of my personal favs), Biggie, Pac, Cassidy and Drake. Although Trillz started rapping just for fun, I'm personally glad he recognized his talent and shared it with the world!

If you're gonna be in the Philly area, you should check out his upcoming shows at the Temple & Bloomsburg campuses. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Show some love and support to another fine talent tryna make his mark in the game!
